James is the founder of Sustainable Business Services (SBS) and supports businesses to realise a sustainable, low carbon and cost-effective future.

James is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and the British Standards Institution (BSI).  

He is an associate consultant for National Quality Assurance (NQA) and BSI, specialising in:

  • ISO 14064 - an international standard that helps organisations measure, report, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  • PAS2060 - an internationally recognised standard that helps companies demonstrate carbon neutrality
  • ISO 14068 - an international standard that helps organisations measure, manage, and achieve carbon neutrality

James is also a Climate Reality Leader and founded SBS with a vision to be a leader in sustainable business. Their services support people, clients and stakeholders to develop sustainable, innovative business practices to drive collective impact and financial performance.
